• Thriving Non-Profits is a training program delivered online through Scale Collaborative. They also have a Social Enterprise Acquisition course especially for those looking to acquire a business and transforming it into a social enterprise.

In 2023 Community Futures East Kootenay (CFEK) ran a pilot project which enabled nonprofit organizations to look at developing social enterprises to support diversified and sustained funding. The project supported the growth of the entrepreneurial mindset of the nonprofits in the region with the aim of supporting the economic growth and impact in our local communities.  Below are presentations from the Community of Practice gatherings held during this pilot project which are helpful resources:
