Housing in the East Kootenays

Why is housing important to the Community Economic Development of the Kootenays?
CED is about creating vibrant places where residents can live, work and play.
What are we doing about housing in the Kootenays?
CFEK serves as a regional connector working to better understand and help address the barriers and project readiness gaps faced by non-profit housing organizations. By listening to local needs and fostering collaboration, we build strong partnerships that strengthen the regional housing sector.
By supporting a more coordinated, responsive and collaborative housing ecosystem across the East Kootenays, we create opportunities for organizations to learn, connect and build meaningful partnerships that advance shared housing goals.
